My name is Quon Gilbert, but you may know me as Quon DeShawn.  I live in Nashville, TN and I've been a client of O'Jaye's Beauty and Barbershop in Smyrna, TN for over 15 years.  He brought beard oil to his shop one day from a local company and at the time, I didn't know this was a thing.  I tried it and loved it!  I then drew inspiration from learning about Madam C.J. Walker and also watching the Netflix series "Self Made" based on her entrepreneurship journey.  I've always had an entrepreneur spirit and these combination of experiences inspired me to create the products I offer.   Quon DeShawn Brand was born in January 2020.

Quon DeShawn Brand is a luxury cosmetic brand.  Our products are hand crafted and prepared in small quantities at a time to ensure the best quality. The current products are 4 oz organic beard balm and 4 oz Ayurvedic organic hair growth oil.

Quon DeShawn Brand’s beard balm is packaged in a 4 oz can and it includes lavender, tea tree oil, and sandalwood amongst other essential oils and butters. It gives beards a great smell, nice shine, and makes the hair softer while also promoting growth. The healing properties within the balm have proven to help treat and prevent razor bumps, ingrown hairs and blemishes.  

Quon DeShawn Brand’s hair growth oil is  packaged in a 4 oz bottle. It is an Ayurvedic organic oil that includes grapeseed oil, castor oil, olive oil, tea tree oil, rosemary, horsetail, fenugreek seeds and neem leaves amongst other herbs. It also includes ylang ylang and lavender essential oils which gives it a delightful smell. This oil keeps your hair moisturized, gives hair a silky feel and promotes consistent growth for natural hair, locs, receding hair lines, edges and bald spots. Customers also use the hair growth oil in conjunction with the beard balm for beard growth as well.
